Community Buildings
Since 2001 the practice has carried out a number of research projects where the views of the community have been established by questionnaires, consultation, and interviews, and refined by discussion and ‘Planning Days’ before feasibility studies were completed.
This process has proved a valuable extension of the traditional briefing process, bringing the architect into direct contact with the user clients and giving an insight into their needs and aspirations.
